Extending Our Reach
Giving back to our local community has always been an important priority for us here at Lindner Logistics. However, over the course of the past several years, we have been able to extend our reach into communities all across the world. Lindner Logistics is proud to be changing lives all the way in Kenya and Nicaragua.
My Gift For Jesus
Scott and Michelle Lindner (Lindner Logistics’ President & CEO and CFO) have been attending Fox River Christian Church for over two decades. Fox River has been and continues to be a valued partner of ours. Each year during the Christmas season, they do something called “My Gift For Jesus.” My Gift For Jesus is an opportunity for anyone at Fox River to partner with International Missions to provide food, education, and healthcare to communities where it is needed the most.Lindner Logistics has been sponsoring children in Kenya and Nicaragua for each Lindner Team Member that we employ. We want our employees to know that they’re not only making a difference in our lives, but they’re making a difference in the lives of hundreds of people across the world. It’s because of their hard work and dedication that we are able to contribute so largely to this mission.
Significant Impact
Hearing about the significant impact we are making in these third-world communities has been such a blessing for us, and we want our employees to hear about it too. This year, we are opening the door to those team members who wish to become more personally involved in this mission by giving them the opportunity to write to some of these children in Kenya and Nicaragua. Fox River has informational cards for each child we are helping by supporting My Gift For Jesus, and we will be providing these cards at each Lindner facility for our employees to take at their discretion.It’s amazing to see the impact this mission has on the people living in these communities. Not only are they being supported physically and educationally, but they’re being supported emotionally and spiritually as well. My Gift For Jesus truly changes lives for the better. Lindner Logistics is incredibly honored to be able to support this cause, and we look forward to being able to continue supporting it in an even greater way going forward.
